BACK TO THE BEACH…

It’s spring here in Sussex and, like Mole in Wind in the Willows, I am putting my head above ground and sniffing the warm, fresh air.

Unlike him, I won’t be messing about in boats – I have history in that department – but my hive at Liberta are taking this moment, when we’re all being given a little more freedom, to relaunch Beach Hut Surprise with a brighter cover and the new price of £2.99 – I’m not sure how that translates into dollars, but it’s amazing value for six wonderful novellas from six best selling authors. Or you can read it free if you subscribe to KU.

So who will you find occupying that pretty row of huts on the beach at Piddling sur Mer?

Lovers, of course and an Edwardian scandal. There’s a body in the one used as a wartime listening station, a vampire or two, and the brewer who created Piddling Perfection just before he disappeared in 1899.

Someone in Forget-Me-Not doesn’t seem to quite fit this world, and there’s a mystery surrounding Rosa’s Retreat, so pull up a deckchair and soak up the sun while you read all about it in Beach Hut Surprise.

And here, to put you in the mood, is an adorable animated card from Jacquie Lawson.
